The Faculty of Law and Political Science (FLPS) of The University of Bamenda (UBa) is one out of the eleven faculties, schools or colleges created by Decree No 2011/045 of 8 March, 2011, to organize The University of Bamenda.
Departments
There are four Departments in FLPS, with a number of options, both at the Undergraduate and graduate levels, which embody these Orientations

english private law
The Department of English Private Law offers training in law in the Anglo-Saxon tradition. In this regard, it undertakes to produce high quality and analytical legal scholars

public law
The Department of Public Law is one of the four Departments of the Faculty of Law and Political Science (FLPS) and aligns itself completely with the vision and mission of the Faculty of Law.

political science
The Department of French Private law is the latest entrant to the Faculty of Law and Political Science. This gives a bijural perspective to studies in the Law Faculty of an Anglo-Saxon University.
